Saitek opened the door and discovered a shocking truth -- Janice was beautiful. Especially dressed in her long flowing sundress.
They had enjoyed a nice supper of salad and Altair water and later a moonlit stroll along the coast, and ended up back at his place after having run off his roommate with tickets to the mud buggy races, thanks to Janice's contact at the tourist bureau.
After a lovely night in each other's arms, the morning arrived with the door chime. Not wishing to wake Saitek up, Janice decided to open the door.
With a smile she opened the door only to find a younger Vulcan man and a humanoid lady on the other side.
At first he stood there and then decided to leave until Saitek joined her.
"Tyvek?"
"Save it, Father," replied his son.
Tyvek and his friend, a lovely woman named Shara, entered the elevator and vanished.
"What was that all about?" Janice asked.
"That was my son, Tyvek. I'm afraid he doesn't approve of our relationship. I have to go to the station and talk to him," replied the older Vulcan.
"I'm sorry. It's all my fault," replied Janice.
"I have no regrets," replied Saitek kissing her forehead.
