Jayme was still getting used to the rank of Major. Now she and her team had volunteered for this tour of duty on Serenity's Camp Anderson. There were just so many memories on Starbase 901 that she actually was looking forward to this assignment.
Jayme's team assembled outside of the shuttle and was met by two of Staff Sergeant Coran's team who led Jayme, Marki, Sara, Kama. The rest of her team was still on station providing care to the complement of Marines still stationed on the base. Starfleet was re-evaluating the need to keep them on station versus sending them elsewhere. Jayme slung her duffle over her shoulder and the team tramped out in a group behind Hendricks. They were led to the barracks, everyone had their own rooms and Jayme was shown to a suite that Nathan would be sharing with her, there was also a desk with computer and communications gear. Her team was stationed on the seventh level and Jayme was on the second level.
She had been there on base before and found that it was ok but she preferred to live in space. She sat on the couch and looked around the room and was still sitting there when Nathan arrived bouncing off the walls.
