Doctor Zahn and Saitek continued as they had for the past few days, monitoring the meta-phasic radiation effects on Saiteks' Bendii Syndrome.
"It is conclusive Captain. You are no longer afflicted with the syndrome." Doctor Zahn concluded.
"Then it is true. Someone falsely tampered with my medical records in order to remove me from command of the Vengeance. Sadfully, I can only think of one person who could prosper from my removal." Saitek replied.
"Captain Nala?"
"Affirmative."
Captain Nala studied the screen that revealed a beautiful view of the Patch. At the helm sat Ensign Turner and Lt.j.g Koft sat at navigation. Directly to her side sat Lt. Commander Steven Jones newly XO'd to the post.
"Captain the sensors definitely show that a warbird was in the system. We are detecting radiation from its warp core." reported Jones.
"Mr. Koft plot a course, and engage on my mark." replied Nala.
"Aye, aye Captain."
"Doctor soon I will confront the Captain on this matter. I must be certain that it is she that has conjured up this act. Logic dictates the truth must be revealed." replied Saitek.
"It will Captain. You were wrongly removed from command, once Admiral Smith hears of this he must return you to your rightful position." replied Zahn.
