Nicole walked around the Raven and then ran up the ramp and closed up and finished her preflight before calling the tower and getting clearance for the short jaunt to Lake Town's port.
"You are a cleared."
"Thank you." She said, as she powered up and lifted off. She made the twenty minute flight and sat down. She was a day early and planned to go into Lake Town for dinner and to wander around and enjoy the sounds of the lake environment.
She smiled as she exited the ship and wandered down to the water line. She watched the ships out on the lake and one coming into the pier. She'd been here before and found that she liked the calm quiet of the place. She walked around the park before sitting on a small rise to enjoy the sun and breeze.
Dinner that night after watching the sunset and the ships come in. She had fresh crawler, biscuit, and salad. She walked back to her ship where she crawled into bed.
Morning came and she got up before the sunrise to watch it as she ran through the city with her braided hair and tights. Back on ship she opened the hatches and waited for the crates of fish to be delivered.
She sat on the bridge of the Raven and listened to her messages from Ashton, and Hendricks, and her friend the Marine Marki. She spotted the transport coming up the road and headed down to the cargo area. Soon she would be on her way to Bajor.
