"Dr Mallory, what is the lapse time for this video?" Andrea asked, having video the video non-stop since handed it.
"Three minutes"
"This is a video showing months of cellular regeneration in a Homo sapiens subject... in three minutes. That's not supposed to be possible."
"Mrs. Hawking, he should not be possible," Dr Mallory stated retrieving the PADD from Andrea and pointing it at Brenton. "The Repartee imploded. We found the wreckage, we saw the results. Brenton was on-board and should not have survived. That is not supposed to be possible either."
"Apparently he did."
You saw the wreckage. A bacterium would have had a tough time surviving the accident."
"Have you noted any other anomalous readings during Brenton's recovery?" Andrea asked as she stepped to Brenton's bed and lightly stroked his hair.
"His delta waves have been through the roof the entire time."
"Delta waves... he's been dreaming?"
"We haven't detected the eye movement associated with dreaming. The deltas are also not cyclic they are persistent."
"Did he suffer brain damage?" Andrea asked again taking the PADD from Dr. Mallory to better inspect Brenton's charts.
"Ms. Hawking his entire body had to have been crushed. How he is here in one piece is beyond me. All the readings we've been getting are from a body that has sustained major trauma. His body is knitting itself back together on a sub-cellular level. He has been in delta frequency since we hooked him up. I don't have explanations for anything. We can treat him for what we can diagnose, but the reasons for his condition are beyond any type of science I am familiar with."
"Everything has a scientific explanation," Andrea replied.
