"Improvisation!"

Author: Lt.j.g. Tyvek
Earthdate: August 26, 2386
Location: The camp on the Amphib Planet/Briar Patch

Gunney, Smith and Tyvek had rendezvoused with one another and prepared for their plan. By sneaking in at night they were able to get close to two centurions and take them out of commission. The third would prove a little more difficult.

As the humans put on the suits, Tyvek noticed the third was a female. She also appeared to be the ranking officer on the patrol, a Sub-Commander. He certainly needed the uniform but could hardly fit into the well-proportioned Romulan female attire.

It would be necessary to avoid her and try for another uniformed officer. He would however need her rank pin in order to appear as a Romulan Officer. With phaser set to stun he was able to take her out a moment later and then stashed her body with the others. Non were dead but wouldn't be waking up anytime soon.

"A fourth centurion is along this path, approach him and try and lure him back this way." Tyvek asked one of the Amphibs.

"I will do my best Tadpole." replied the giant toad.

It hopped down the path and soon returned even faster.

"It's coming!" gulped the toad.

Tyvek aimed at the path and was able to take the Romulan down with one burst. He now had his uniform and for all intense purposes the chance to portray A Romulan Sub-Commander.

The plan also entailed using one of the Amphibs to play the role of a leader. By escorting the Amphib to the camp with what appeared to be two Romulan guards, acting Sub-Commander Tyvek approached the perimeter guard.

"Jolan Tru, I have a prisoner for the Rh'iov." lied Tyvek.

"He is back aboard the ship, we are preparing to leave orbit Sub-Commander." replied the Centurion.

"We need to be transported aboard. This is the leader of the amphibians." Tyvek added.

A few seconds later the guard summoned the ship and soon had materialized the quartet onto the warbirds decks.

The Warbird...

The room was essentially y empty except for one person behind the console.

"Jolan Tru!" said the operator.

"Jolan Tru, " replied Gunney as he fired his phaser at the operator. With this man down he was able to access the transporter and take it out of commission.

"We must now make our way to the engineering and bridge." replied Tyvek

The toad creature was also among them.

"Sir what about him?" asked Cpl Smith.

"Remain here and hold this disruptor. If the unconscious man moves shoot him." replied Tyvek.

Exiting the room Gunney made for what he hoped was engineering while Tyvek made for the bridge, leaving Smith and the Amphib behind to hold down the transporter fort.
