Saitek had emerged from the ready room following his meeting with Admiral Smith and no one had seen him since. Meanwhile, Captain Nala and her X.O. returned to the bridge to confront the storm front.
"Helm position of the storm?" asked Nala.
The Deltan helmsman replied, "Course bearing twenty thousand kilometers."
"Navigator plot the storms move through the space lanes." Nala requested.
The navigator frowned as she declared its course.
"At present space drift the storm will enter the New Canada system in two standard weeks."
"Helm send an open comm channel to Star Base 901. Patch me through to Commodore Hunter." Nala ordered.
Saitek leaned into the communication monitor and began speaking.
"Tyvek I'm sorry that I am unable to tell you face to face, but I have been reactivated into Star Fleet. The Vengeance is delivering me back to Serenity and then I'm ferrying back to Earth to accept my new assignment. I'll look you up when I arrive. Saitek out"
The channel blinked and then went off. He then proceeded to Sickbay.
Doctor Zahn of all people must be the first to know his news.
