Treya was at her dig site on Timuck III. It was sunset and she was just heading back to her tent. No one seemed to be around and the sky was full of brilliant color. Suddenly, from inside her tent, a man appeared. At first, she couldn't see him, but as she drew closer, she saw who it was. It was Jack Jordan the man that had saved her! Her heart beat faster as she approached him.

"What are you doing here?" she asked almost breathlessly.

"I had to see you," he replied as he took a step closer to her. "In fact, I couldn't stay away." With that, he closed the gap between them, caressed her face and kissed her passionately.

Her legs felt as if they were melting under her and all she could think about was this man. How good he felt. How much she wanted him here. How much she -

Suddenly, her alarm chirped. Groggily, she awoke, still feeling the dream kiss on her lips. She sighed as she sat up. Every night since the moment Jack had left for Bajor she'd had dreams of him... him kissing her and so much more.

"You're just infatuated with him," she said to herself. "He saved your life and now you idolize him." But the argument wasn't very convincing as she pulled herself from bed and headed to the shower. After all, there had been a certain amount of sparks between them from the moment they had met, and there had been that one real kiss, she thought; a kiss that was apparently burned into her memory. "He hasn't come back. He hasn't contacted you. Stop day dreaming and get to Michael's Journal!"

With that, she dropped her nightgown to the floor and stepped into the shower, planning to replicate breakfast and get straight to work once again.

Jack had finished off-loading his shipment on Bajor and had taken a side-trip to deliver a smaller shipment to Treyva before heading back to Serenity. He was sitting in the pilot's seat. He was tired. Jack was on his fifth cup of coffee, but after several days of not enough sleep it was beginning to show. As his eyelids shut he drifted to sleep.

He was walking through his ship. Jack had just finished checking his cargo once again and was just about ready to head up to the cockpit. But as he passed the extra room he had, he saw someone on the bed. As he went to take a closer look, he saw who it was. Treya Junipher, the Archaeologist he had recently rescued and had helped find a place to stay on Serenity. But here she was, on his ship, laying there in a simple white shift, smiling at him.

"What are you doing here?" he asked with surprise, though he had to admit he liked the way she looked laying there... on his ship.

"I'm here for you," she replied gently, her brown eyes sparkling. Slowly, she got off the bed and went to him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I missed you and... Well... I couldn't resist seeing you."

"But how did you get here?" he asked.

Her smiled brightened. "I'm here because you wanted me to be here." With that, she kissed him tenderly.

Not one to pass up an opportunity, he returned her kiss. "I have wanted you here," he replied grudgingly, kissing her again, allowing his hands to roam her body.

Suddenly, Charger barked and Jack's eyes flew open, spilling some cold coffee on himself. He'd been dreaming. It had been just a dream... another one with Treya. He had no idea why he was dreaming of her... literally fantasizing about her. Even though he had saved her life and he had felt responsible, this went beyond that and he knew it. He liked her - her personality, her vulnerability. What was he going to do? No woman had ever affected him quite like this. He looked at Charger.

"You had to wake me up during the good part, didn't you?" he said.

Charger merely went to him and placed his head on Jack's lap. Jack scratched the Aussie Shepard behind the ears. Before he realized what he was doing, he sent a message to Treya.

Treya's comm chirped. She put down her book and went to see what it was. She pulled up the message from Jack.

"I'll be back on Serenity tomorrow," he replied. "Thought you might like to get together, maybe have some dinner. Let me know."

With that, she smiled brightly. She wasn't the only one with thoughts apparently.
