K'Tag relaxed on the bridge of the small craft with his wife, Claire, and there new born child, Martok. Martok was named after the dominion war general who is also a relative of K'Tag and now the young Martok's God Father.

"Home is not going to be the same..." Claire trailed off. She had not wanted to leave Serenity, but had gone with her husband to fulfill his wishes.

"You are right, home will not be the same. We must go on though..." K'Tag didn't have the greatest words of encouragement, but his heart always seemed to be in the right place. "The Klingon home world was the proper place for his birth, he is Klingon, after all. K'Tag turned away from Claire as if to check the sensor reading.

"Maybe you have forgotten, this child is only half Klingon!" Claire responded very quickly.

"You wouldn't mate like my people, you wouldn't marry like my people, the least you could do, is let my first born son be acknowledged like a true Klingon warrior." K'Tag's voice became crisp and clear.

"I'm not one of your people." Claire answered K'Tag in a pointed manner. "And in case you have forgotten, he is only two months old, he can't even say his own name yet, he is not a warrior." Claire seemed as if she was almost asking for a fight.

"He is a warrior at birth it is in at least half of his blood." K'Tag glanced up at his wife who met him square in the eyes.

There trip had been long, three months on the Klingon home world wasn't Claire's idea of a vacation. However K'Tag seemed oblivious to her inconvenience during a majority of the trip. Maybe it was the confined room of the shuttle, it could have been the air was finally clean again.

"I am going to miss Kitty." Claire dropped the Klingon savage argument and went for a new conversation.

"Captain Mallory, is a fine addition to Star Fleet, she is honorable and successful. You should be happy for her." K'Tag was also going to miss Captain Mallory, but more then Mallory he was going to miss young Zac. He had given Zac self defense lessons, and had even traveled halfway across the galaxy to save him from harms way.

"We should be happy for her." K'Tag corrected himself.

"I'm sure the Commodore has missed you." Claire glanced over at K'Tag. In some ways K'Tag was glad to finally be able to get back to work, especially if that meant he didn't have to deal with his wife every moment of the day.

"Perhaps he has, but I am sure my temporary replacement has done a fine job." K'Tag had a tone of excitement in his voice.

"Prepare our belongings, we are approaching the spaceport." K'Tag glanced back over his shoulder to make certain his wife was preparing their belongings.

As the shuttle touched down on the surface K'Tag opened the shuttle craft door to find himself starring down upon a Klingon female. She seemed almost as surprised as he did.

"Welcome back sir." The voice of a Klingon female carried across the soundless bay.

*Unlike my wife, she would know about honor* K'Tag thought to himself. His own thought process was interrupted by a sudden rip across the silent air.

"Congratulations!", said a familiar voice. K'Tag turned to find himself face to face with Commodore Hunter. "It's a boy!", the commodore spoke again.

"Thank you, sir." K'Tag straightened up.

"I am looking forward to returning to duty." K'Tag spoke again.

"That's good, we have lots to discuss, but for tonight join me for a celebration." The commodore smiled as he spoke.

"A celebration?" K'Tag deep inside was truly looking forward to another opportunity to have a big glass of blood wine, it had been nearly twenty hours since his last cup.

"I had all of your belongings brought down from the station, and I set you up in a three bedroom complex, with a great view! It seems to me we need to have a housewarming party." The commodore's smiled widened a little.

"Thank you, sir, that is amazing, you didn't have to do that." K'Tag's voice had a bit of cheer in it.

The Commodore began walking towards the door, with K'Tag, Claire, and a porter not far behind.

The Commodore spoke as he walked, "I want to hear all about your trip to Qu'nos, but first how does it feel to be home...?"
