Joined SFMC at age 20, after several years college. Served with distinction and Meritorious service for forty years before his retirement in 2384. Last duty station was IO, Last Posting was Marine Corps Command and Security Chief (2353), promoted to rank of Lt. Colonel. In his forty years with the Corps he served on three starships, two starbases, stationed on 10 planets, fought in the Dominion War and against the Borg. His entry into the corps was special forces and has received training in and performed the duties of damage control tech, weapons officer, security officer, and spent last five years in working Command. Has 18 service awards that include (4) wounded in action.
Married Anna Alcon a SF Medical Officer--she is Chief of staff on Mars University Medical Center/ Advisor SF medical school. Daughter is Jayme Alcon, Captain SFMC stationed on SB901.
In March 2385, Marcus decided to leave Mars and visit his daughter Jayme on SB901. He has extended his stay indefinitely and is currently working for Troy Nevalla (owner of Soma) as a bartender.
