Personality
Aidan looks and acts every bit like the marine officer she is. Even though she stands only 5'5" Major Danar can be quite imposing. Physical and mental fitness are both very important to her.. Her telepathic abilities are similar to a Betazoid.
Storm became her callsign for various reasons. One of them is her fiery temper. There is no room for mistakes in Aidan's book. Joining the marines was the right thing for Aidan. It gives her a place she truly feels comfortable with herself and a way to make a difference for others. Aidan has never been one let any personal doubt or insecurities show especially when on duty.

Background
Born on December 8, 2354, Aidan was born to Bryan and Hali Danar. The baby's full given Romulan name was Aidoann but that was shorted to become Aidan. They did their best to shield their daughter from the truth of her background. Hali had been treated very poorly by one of her Romulan guards.
Growing up Aidan had a close relationship with her two sisters Aleca and Cassia. At times it seemed they were the only ones that didn't care Aidan was half Romulan. Instead they looked up to their older sister as a mentor.
Aidan entered the Starfleet Academy's Marine Division with the class of 2376. With her interest in becoming a pilot she chose to focus her studies in combat flight and various methods of Recon gathering.
The USS Tigershark marked Aidan's first full active duty assignment as a member of the 210th Marine Squadron. She spent the next two years of her career there. It was a good opportunity for Aidan to hone her skills as a pilot. Her acceptance into Special Operations training marked a major change in Aidan's long term career goals.
In 2379 Aidan was promoted to 1st Lieutenant and transferred to a Special Operations Rapid Response Unit based out of Starbase Nova. That gave her great insight into a whole new world.
Once again life as a marine sent her to another new assignment, this time aboard the USS Saratoga. Aidan was promoted to Marine Captain. Her new posting was as member of the Black Angels Special Ops Squadron. Both ground work and her skills as a pilot were tested. Aidan also helped out with flight duties for the Combat Search and Rescue unit occasionally. The rank of Major was granted to her in 2385.
In 2386 Aidan accepted a transfer to Serenity Base. Starfleet decided to base the first experimental Marine Aerospace Squadron from there. Hellhawks quickly became the nickname for the squadron. Aidan Danara was assigned to be the unit's Wing Commander.
