Born and raised on Aldea, Xiani was the first of many children to be
born thanks to the Federation curing Aldea's radiation poisoning three
years previously. Xiani's life was dedicated to the arts of Music, drawing
and crafts thanks to the decisions made by the Custodian on how the
children should grow. In time Xiani grew to love her chosen life and
created many beautiful pieces of craftwork as a child but like all children
Xiani felt she should choose the way she wanted to live and not live
by the Custodian's rules.
When she turned 16 however Xiani's rebellious streak took her too far
as she fell pregnant after a wild party to celebrate her birthday. When
her parents found out they were furious and the Custodian wanted her
to give up the child when it were born. Horrified by this Xiani left
Aldea so she could raise her child on her own but when she went into
labour she realised she had been carrying more than one child and gave
birth to her twin children, a boy she named Jaden and a girl she named
Annika. Xiani grew up very quickly after her children were born and
soon realised she needed to make a living for herself so she could provide
for her children. Using her skills as an Artisan and a musician, Xiani
sang songs in cantinas and created anything from ornaments made out
of wood to ornaments made from glass and porcelain.
Two years later Xiani had enough credits to find a permanent home for
her and her children and after careful consideration she decided to
move to Serenity colony's Lake Town to set up home and start her crafts
business which sells her crafts three days a week and for one day she
opens her shop up for children and adults to create their own works
of art at ten credits per adult and five credits per child. In the three
days she has left she spends with her children. When she watches her
own children play she begins to miss her young sister, Ling who she
really cared about but she wouldn't have her life any other way. The
only thing that saddens her is the fact that her children don't have
a father figure to look up to and she hopes that one day she'll find
somebody that would accept her and her children.
