Alicia is shy, quiet, calm, and sincere. She loves chocolate. She's allergic to nuts, except peanuts. Has a pet Iguana, Taos (on USS Eagle). Has excellent kinetic sense... but reluctantly participates in any sporting activities, but has grown attached to all kinds of martial arts.

Background

I am the only child of David and Anna Devries. My father's a warp core engineer and mother's an instructor at Starfleet Academy for Computer hardware. I spent lots of time alone as a child and at an early age started investigating electronics and knew five languages by age fifteen, plus five 20th century computer languages. Music came easily to me but I spent little time exploring it except to escape. At age 16, I graduated and headed off to MIT where I learned to socialize more then anything. There I took some astronomy courses and one project took me off planet and I found a part of me that was missing and from there on I knew I wanted to be on one of the Starships and explore the universe. After leading several projects on harmonic waves and binary algorithms, I graduated with my Masters Degree and applied to Starfleet Academy. I graduated, and received my first posting to the USS Eagle, and I was appointed as a Communications Tech to the ship, within a year I was promoted to Lieutenant.

On the Eagle, I was seeing Lt Keung Lee, and had many friends among the crew but none closer then Katianna Nadira. During a freak accident while shadowing a vessel, our craft got sucked into an anomaly and Lt. Lee, two other security/Rapid Deployment Team members and I were hurled through space and time. Due to injuries the two security officer died in the line of duty, Lt Lee and myself seriously injured were rescued by the USS Ronin. We were brought aboard Starbase901 where we recovered in their medical center. There Captain Mallory, rejoined us with our friend Katianna Nadira, and we learned that we were now in the year 2385 and that we certainly aren't on the USS Eagle. I am having a little trouble adjusting to the time change, but in love and living with Keung Lee. I have accepted a position as Lt. with the Special Operations Unit being assembled now under Lt. Commander Lee.

It was on SB901 that Lee and Alicia was bought to the attention of Starfleet Director of Operations. For sometime Starfleet had been considering the setting up of a specialist special forces unit in the sector to deal with terrorism and elements that threaten to undermine the security of the Federation. Upon discovering that Lee had considerable experience in such activities, he was approached to set up a special operations unit. For ten years under the command of Lee workalongside Communications specialist Alicia Deviries, they distinguished themselves in a number of classified black operations. It came as a surprise to Starfleet personnel, that Lee and Dviries announced they were resigning from Starfleet explaining they were seeking a fresh direction in their careers, mainly in civilian life. Upon resignation from Starfleet, the couple married and embarked on a new career as innkeepers on Serentiy. Although no longer working in Starfleet, the couple have been occasionally been involved in a number of classified jobs at the behest of Starfleet Intelligence.
