Personality

Uses logic whenever posible. Has devoted most of his adult life to learning martial arts from all the different space fairing cultures. He fears that eventually one day his unsupressed emotions will take over his logic, like has happened in the past. He is motivated to protect those that are weaker than him, and to achive a greater good for all species. He is often cold like most vulcans, but enjoys the company of other humanoids more than some of his kin.

Hobbies and Interests

He likes to explore places that are new to him. Most of his time is spent in martial arts training, it helps him control the unwanted emotions. Unknown to others he releases anger this way.

Background

Born on Vulcan in 2241. Started school at ten months old. He learned the ways of the Vulcan race, and studied many subjects. Most of his young life was spent from the classroom to the library. Like most Vulcans, acquiring knowledge was the main goal. The other thing he learned was to suppress the horrible emotions of his ancestors. This process was harder for him than for some Vulcans. It was so hard to fight his emotions that he joined the small security force on Vulcan. There he built his physique. In this way he is able to control his emotions. He is one of the strongest Vulcans that has ever walked.

He joined the Vulcan Science Academy at the age of 17. There he got more interested in the human fleet called Starfleet. The logic of exploration was in his heart. The science vessels of Vulcan lost appeal and with his father's permission he joined Starfleet Academy after graduating from the Vulcan Academy. There he saw how humans acted with their emotions and decided to live amongst them to study their ways, in particular their feelings, and in this way control his unwanted feelings.

He served in Starfleet with distinction, going from ensign to admiral in his long Starfleet career. After one hundred years he decided that Starfleet was not for him anymore and he bought his own ship, and hired a crew.

For twenty years he has braved, with his crew, dangers for the benefit and safety of others. Even thought he no longer serves in Starfleet, he believes that the Federation must be protected even if it means his life.

He heard of the Serenity system and is heading there with a new ship to lend assistance to the colonists against the enemies of the Federation.
