Various scars over her body from different scraps over the years. She’s also Empathic and Telepathic and has incredible agility, strength, hearing and sight. Her abilities are a lot like a cat’s.

Personality

She was once an aggressive sort that could easily start brawls. But now, she’s content to a calm and happy existence only fighting when absolutely necessary. She’s become quite friendly over the years. But you still wouldn’t want to be on her bad side.

She’s very loyal to her family and friends, and God help the person who hurts them in any way.

Hobbies and Interests

Martial Arts, reading, holosuite programs especially physical ones. She enjoys swimming, rock climbing, hiking - anything physical. Visiting with her sister, niece and nephew also.

Background

She was born on Laconia II, supposedly to Telara and Reggial Mikori who died in a freak transporter accident shortly after she was born. She was then raised by her Uncle Bakar Mikori. He was very cold and cruel to her. Always driving out her emotions and pushing her toward athletics, where she excelled and could forget herself during the times of focus and concentration needed for the different sports she engaged in. She had many care-takers as she grew up being that her Uncle was not always around. But as soon as her uncle noticed a growing attachment on either side, they always seemed to conveniently disappear.

As time wore on, she got into several scraps with other kids. As a young teen she even came close to killing at least one boy who had tried to bully her. When she placed herself into an excelled athletics programs at school, her aggressive tendencies seemed to be tempered a bit, having an outlet. The drawback was that various teams never felt she was truly part of them. As she got older, and started thinking about a career, she started researching Starfleet and decided that was where she was really drawn, though she couldn't explain it. Of course, it would also get her away from Laconia II and her Uncle. It was the only decision she ever made that her Uncle had ever truly approved.

She saw her Uncle very rarely after her acceptance into the Academy. She was always in the top percent of her class, but there were always reports made of her aggressive attitude.

Upon her graduation she was placed aboard the USS Concord where she was eventually transferred to the USS Kennedy at the request of the Concord’s Captain. After a year on the Kennedy she still had problems fitting in and they once again transferred her. This time she ended up on the Parnassus. Eventually, she was left in charge of a Marine named Benson who wasn’t easy to control or contain. However, with her incredible athletic abilities she was able to handle him easily enough. When his presence was requested aboard the USS Ronin, she was sent as well. She was shocked to find a mirror image of herself in Lt. Commander Karissa Bentara, the Ronin’s Chief counselor. Like to dominant felines in a cage, they made each other bristle. It finally came down to good old fashioned fight where Karissa took Shara down. But after, Karissa got her to talk and slowly Shara began to heal from the years of abuse she’d suffered at the hands of her Uncle. She also learned that Bakar Mikori probably wasn’t her uncle. Instead he was most likely her creator. That he had created her off of Karissa’s original template, since Karissa was approximately five years older.

As time went on Shara and Karissa drew closer together. She saw Karissa through having her twins and the loss of Ryan Evans. They have become the epitome of sisters.

When the Ronin was transferred to Starbase 901, she accepted the change easily. But her life was made more interesting when a virus was let loose on the Starbase causing people to fall in love with each other. It had caused chaos all over the place including on the Ronin where she ended up Lt. Tyvek, the recently appointed Science Officer to SB901, but who had temporary residence on the Ronin. After the virus was neutralized, both Shara and Tyvek new that there was something more about their connection than just what the virus had caused. It went much deeper.

Now, with Starbase 901 being moved, and knowing Karissa was transferring, she accepted a transfer down to the Serenity Colony to be with her family and to be near Tyvek.
